Pork margarita? Roast beef smoothie? I didn’t think so.
Has thou noticed that bars never serve pork margaritas? And that smoothie shops don’t offer a roast-beef smoothie? That’s because
people don’t really like the taste of pork and roast beef, at least not compared with the taste of blueberries, bananas, strawberries, etc. People can’t even stomach roast beef for breakfast.
If people really, truly, naturally liked the flavor of pork and roast beef, they would want that flavor in everything. But they don’t. People have only grown accustomedto eating pork and beef and chickens and fish. The body will acclimate to whatever is available. But no one has to live like this. Because of trains and ships, fruit is available everywhere.
Yet, we know that we do see strawberry margaritas and mango-banana smoothies. People almost look for the opportunity to mix the flavor of mango into something. Because with our current standard diet, mango only shows up possibly in a morning fruit salad, at least in the American 49 states. Hawaii is the exception because I’m sure everyone eats mangos 24/7.
It’s easy to give up the flavor of pork and beef. No one would want to give up the tastes of blueberries and watermelon.
