Recipe: Lara-Banana Bowl


  • Bananas
  • Larabar (any flavor)
  • Agave
  • Cinnamon (!)
  • Any berry (cranberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.)

Inspired by cereals which can have unhealthy ingredients. We start with bananas and a larabar and add in spices found in one’s favorite cereal.

The Lara bars provide the density of cooked food, but preserve the enzymes that help use digest food and possibly provide other benefits.

Chop up the banana and larabar finely. Easier than eating the entire banana but one avoids the sugar-spike of a smoothie.
